Automatic snoozing allows you to define rules to specify the conditions under which a pick list or order should be snoozed when it is created. For example, snooze orders you only need to process the next morning, on the set shipping date, or due to an address error that needs correction.
To automate snoozing, you first need to create a snooze reason.
Creating a Snooze Reason
Navigate to Settings in the menu on the left.
Go to Automation → Snooze Reasons.
Click on Add Snooze Reason to create a new snooze reason.
Select the Snooze Reason Type for orders or pick lists.
Fill in the Name and Code fields to assign a reference for the snooze reason.
Choose a Fulfillment Customer if the snooze reason should only be visible for orders or pick lists belonging to a specific customer.
Save the snooze reason by clicking Save Snooze Reason.
Automating Snooze Reasons
Once you’ve created a snooze reason, you can apply Triggers. These are the conditions that an order or pick list must meet to be automatically snoozed under this snooze reason when it is created.
Open the snooze reason you want to automate and click + Add Trigger.
Set the priority of the trigger.
The lower the number, the higher the priority, starting at 0.
Priorities determine the execution order of triggers. If two snooze reasons have overlapping conditions, you can adjust the execution order by changing the priority.
Choose the Trigger, i.e., when the snooze should be applied.
Specify the duration for which the snooze should apply. Options include:
Hours
Days
Next business day
Next day
Until the expected shipping date
After setting the Trigger, add the conditions that determine when the trigger should be applied.
Save everything by clicking Save Snooze Reason.
This process ensures orders or pick lists meeting the defined conditions are automatically snoozed upon creation.
