In the Order Overview, you can see all orders that have been created or imported. From here, you can open orders to view detailed information, including products, customer details, associated pick lists, and shipments. You can also create new orders directly from this page.
Having control over your Order Overview is crucial for efficiently finding orders and performing actions. Orders are typically imported from sales channels but can also be created manually when needed.
Using the Order Overview
Orders are sorted by default based on the creation date, with the newest at the top.
• To change the sorting order, click the arrow in the column for Order Number, Status, or Created On.
• To customize the displayed columns, click Customize in the top-right corner. Select the columns you want to display and arrange their order.
• If more columns are selected than can fit on the screen, click and drag anywhere on the table to view the rest.
Creating an Order
Orders are usually imported automatically, so manual creation is rarely needed. However, for cases like B2B orders that cannot be imported, you can create orders manually.
1. Click New Order in the top-right corner of the Order Overview.
2. If the order belongs to a fulfillment customer, select the customer from the dropdown menu.
3. The Reference field is optional and helps track the purpose of the order.
4. Specify whether the order is returnable. This determines whether the customer can register it as a return via the return portal.
5. If the order is a B2B order requiring a CRM, indicate it here.
6. Enter the shipping and billing address of the recipient.
7. Add products by clicking Add Product at the bottom. Specify the quantity and any optional additional information.
8. After completing the details, save the order by clicking Place Order in the top-right corner.
Order Statuses
Understanding order statuses is crucial for ensuring smooth operations.
• Draft: This status indicates an issue during the creation or import of an order, preventing it from moving to “Backorder” or “Processing.” Contact support to resolve the issue.
• Backorder: Indicates that one or more products in the order are out of stock. The order remains in this status until sufficient stock is available to create a pick list.
• Processing: Assigned to orders that are ready to be processed, meaning a pick list has been created and is ready for action.
• Completed: The order has been processed but not yet shipped. This status is assigned once the pick list has been picked and completed, but the shipping label has not been printed.
• Shipped: Assigned when the pick list has been processed, and the label has been created and printed. This is the final status for an order.
• Snoozed: Orders with this status are paused for a set amount of time. Once the time expires, the order is unsnoozed.
• Paused: Orders paused indefinitely. They remain in this status until a pick list is manually created.
• Deleted: Orders manually deleted are assigned this status. Associated pick lists are also deleted, and the order can no longer be processed.
These features and statuses ensure effective management of your orders, whether they’re imported or manually created.
