How Do I Create Virtual Products Using a Spreadsheet?

To create virtual products with a spreadsheet in Lyra WMS, you’ll need a spreadsheet structured as follows:

  • Each component of a composition is listed on a separate row.

  • Each component already exists as a product in the product catalog.

  • Each row contains a column with the SKU of the virtual product and a column with the SKU of the component.

  • A quantity is not required; if missing, the system will assume a quantity of 1 for that row.

  • Your spreadsheet must include headers.

Steps to Import Virtual Products

If your spreadsheet meets the above requirements, follow these steps to create the compositions:

  1. Navigate to Products and click the three dots in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Import Virtual Compositions.

  3. Under Import, select

    your spreadsheet file.

    • If your spreadsheet is correctly formatted, the input fields will change to selectable options.

    • These fields should match the headers from your spreadsheet.

  4. Map the correct headers from your spreadsheet to the corresponding settings in the system.

  5. Click Save.

🎉 Congratulations! You’ve saved a lot of time and successfully created virtual compositions.
