Process an ASN when the supplier's goods arrive: you create a receipt order from the ASN, count what came in, and receive it into stock.
Steps
In the menu, click Inbound, then ASNs. Click the ASN number to open it, then click New receipt at the top right.
A receipt order opens with its own number, for example RC2026-00007, and the status Open. Under Expected products you see every product on the ASN and how many are still to come (REMAINING). Click Add next to a product.
The product moves up to Receiving, with counters for Boxes and Quantity. Enter the quantity you counted with − and +, or click the double tick next to Quantity (Pick all remaining) to fill in the full expected quantity. The receipt status changes to In progress.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the other products. If fewer goods arrived, enter only what you counted. In the example, 3 of the 5 units of the second product arrived.
Optional: to put all lines on one staging point, click Set staging location. Choose a Job location, for example a drop-off point, and click Apply.
The staging location now shows next to Receive all.
On each line, click Select location and choose the location where the product goes. TODO: confirm. In the demo this list showed only No location selected, so this step could not be finished.
Click the tick at the end of each line to receive it, or click Receive all for all lines at once.
Click Complete receipt at the top right.
